A coal mine has been reconstructed in the galleries of an old quarry. The visit is informative on extraction methods of coal as it was done in Limburg before the closure of the last mines. A film from 1966 shows the collieries. In the galleries, you will see the means of transporting the workers and the coal, the water extraction pumps, the site of the seam from which the coal was extracted and the safety systems.
