Near the 15C Gevangenpoort (prison-gate), you will see this old town hall, now a restaurant. It has a graceful Renaissance façade with a stepped gable, a flight of steps in front and is topped by two heraldic lions. In the same street, at no.37 you can see a stone façade depicting an axe chopping wood. Also see two twin houses opposite from 1593 and 1606 whose stone façades depict a golden angel and a salamander.
