The reconstructions in this biblical museum evoke the world of the Old and New Testaments in their religious as well as cultural and archeological aspects. This outdoor museum (48 ha), consecrated to daily life in the time of Jesus, lets the visitor discover a small eastern village with a synagogue, an inn, a village of fishermen. The street Via Orientalis recreates old Jerusalem, where many different ethnic groups lived together.
