This reserve extends over 580 ha, amongst the coastal dunes and heathlands around lakes which attract many birds. Best to come in the nesting season around mid-May.. From a distance you can see the nesting areas (mainly in the reeds) and especially see the spoonbills which have come from Egypt or Spain from February onwards and which will stay here until July-August.
