This charming small Gothic building on two floors was begun in 1474. The bays on the 1st floor are separated by recesses topped by daises which contain the statues of four lords and three ladies from Veere. The roof is flanked by octagonal turrets and is dominated by a belfry from 1591 crowned with a balustrade with pinnacles and small columns and an onion-domed belfry. The carillon has 48 bells. The audience room is one of the oldest in the country
