Your Twilight Tour departs about 45 minutes before sundown. Within minutes of escaping the city center you are driving through historic suburbs to the aptly named Happy Valley. Only 5 minutes later you will find yourselves on Wellington's dramatic South Coast. As you look past mountains plunging into the sea you can make out the South Island disappearing into dusk.
You are able to spend a few minutes down on the beach, fossicking through the rocks, searching for dolphins or just taking in the scenery. Next you will drive the coast for a few kilometers before climbing through the green belt for fantastic 360' views of Wellington from Mount Victoria.
