Nazca : Michelin's recommendations
While the town of Nazca may be of little interest in its own right, it is very close to one of the major centres of Nazca culture. Cachuachi, the ruins of which lie 30km from the town, was the most important city built by this civilisation, of which fascinating testimonies remain in the Museo Antonini. However, the most amazing traces are the so-called Nazca Lines, huge drawings of animals and humans spread over 450km2 of pampas, whose construction and significance remain a mystery.
