Pimentel : Michelin's recommendations

Pimentel is a renowned seaside resort that emerged from the sand in 1920. The high jetty on stilts (muelle) is beset with fish restaurants and small hotels that are packed at weekends. As at Huanchaco, caballitos de totora pulled up on the beach rub shoulders with old fishing boats. The immense crescent-shaped beach is a favourite surfing spot.
