This fascinating testimonial of the funeral rites of the Collas, one of the many pre-Incan (9C-15C) civilisations, ranging from mummies, accompanied with dishes and objects, all of which in amazing towers (or chullpas) to flawlessly assembled stones, was found at Sillustani. Located 30km to the northwest of Puno on the shores of Lake Umayo, the site stands in beautiful natural landscape.
