Sited in the 17C Szolayski residence, the museum has works and mementoes pertaining to Stanislaw Wyspianski (1869-1907), a key figure in the Young Poland movement, a local variant of Art Nouveau. Loyal to his town and country, he was primarily a painter but also a writer, playwright, photgrapher and architect. Note the interesting old photos of Krakow by Ignacy Krieger hanging on the stairway.
