Standing at the end of Piwna Street, this elegant building shows Flemish Renaissance influences. Built between 1600 and 1605, it remained in service until the 19C. Below the statue of Minerva is an opening for munitions. The ground floor has a modest commercial gallery, while the higher storeys house the academy of fine arts. Coming from the other side, on Coal Market Square, note the superb façade comprising of four abutting gables.
