Founded in 1925 in another Poznanski family property, this was one of the world’s first modern art museums. Abstract, contructivist, surrealist and figurative Polish works from the early 20C: Kobro, Stazewski, Strzeminski, etc. It also has one of the largest international collections of 20C greats (Chagall, Mondrian, Kisling, Nolde, Ernst, Klee, Arp, Léger, Picasso, etc.), and a good selection of socio-realist art.
