Poznan Town Hall Highly Recommended Highly Recommended Highly Recommended : Michelin's recommendations

Standing at the centre of the Rynek, this is one of Poland’s finest town halls. Italian Giovanni Battista Quadro restored it in the Renaissance style after the fire in 1536. Each day when its bells strike noon, the Poznan goats emerge from the clock mechanism. Inside, the Poznan history museum recounts the city’s history from the 10C to 1945. Don’t miss the great hall, its coffered ceiling (1555) richly decorated with armorials, painted scenes and finely carved motifs.
