Przemysl Travel guide
Przemysl : Michelin's recommendations
A place of strategic significance often fought over in the past, Przemysl is at last enjoying more peaceful times. Historically the greatest fortress of the Austro-Hungarians, and later a favoured spot for Cold War spies, the city today prefers to be known for its handcrafted pipes and bells. The bubbling River San separates the modern city from the old town. Most of Przemysl’s places of interest are to be found higher up on the right bank of the river.
