Sandomierz : Michelin's recommendations

With 800 years of history, this is one of the Gothic jewels of Lesser Poland. The centrepiece of its vast market square (more than 100m across) is the 14C town hall, while good examples of townhouses here include the post office (Olesnicki House), at no 10, the neo-Classical former guardhouse now occupied by the PTTK tourist office, and nos 3, 31 and 27.
