Cuisine modern

Menu: 30€/ 110€ - Carte: 41€/65€

This restaurant occupies an attractive aristocratic property with an interior that is elegantly classical in style. The kitchen serves contemporary cuisine, including a number of innovative dishes, alongside traditional Portuguese recipes. Great attention to detail, both in its preparation and presentation.

      Pros

Excellent service with very friendly helpful staff and the food was good value. We had dinner consisting of 4 courses plus coffee. The wine list had some good local wines on it too. Nice homemade bread.

      Cons

For such a hotel the food was only average with an undistinguished chocolate pudding to finish off with. The fish starter and main course were better but were nothing to write home about. It barely merited its one star status.
