This village in the vineyards is in an attractive area which separates two valleys. Not far from there, 3km away, to the right, you have a great view over the coast which highlights the indentations of the nearby River dos Moinhos. To the left you will come to Ponta Delgada, with its completely white church and sea water swimming pool. After Ponta Delgada, the coastline becomes even more forbidding.
