Castanheira de Pêra : Michelin's recommendations

In the main street of the town, opposite a school, you will find a strange public garden with yews, box and thuja trees carved into amazing fantastic shapes... Beyond the village, on a bend to the right, a belvedere has an extensive view over and beyond a curtain of pine trees below in the small valley of a tributary of the Zézere. The descent over Lousã is very quick and the mountain road has pretty views over the valley of the Arouce.
