Constância
: Michelin's recommendations
Situated 12km to the west of Abrantes, at the confluence of the River Tagus and the River Zêzere, this small charming town is a beautiful quiet place with cobbled and flower-decked streets, interspersed with small stairways and arches. The great poet Camões lived here, and his former home (recently restored) will soon house a centre dedicated to his work. The historic hub of the village is the Praça Alexandre Herculano.
