The walls of this chapel are covered with beautiful azulejos representing scenes from the life of the Queen Isabel of Aragon, wife of King Dinis. Note the scene of the Miracle of the Roses - when surprised by the King whilst carrying bread to the poor, the Queen, to divert suspicion from her husband, unfolded her dress showing only roses.
