Displaying works of art and archaeological artefacts, this museum occupies the former archbishop's palace (16 and 17C). Interesting collection of 16C-17C Portuguese School pictures including works by Francisco Henriques (official painter to King Dom Manuel), Gregório Lopes and Álvaro Pires, plus 18C Italian pictures. The religious art includes 13 works from the cathedral’s old Flemish altarpiece.
