Walking across this garden, located just below Sao Francisco church, you will see a section of King Manuel's palace (16C), most of which has unfortunately been rebuilt, as well as relics from another 16C palace. You will also pass in front of the market, which is very busy in the mornings, where you can buy traditional pottery.
