Fátima : Michelin's recommendations

A very well-known sanctuary to the Virgin Mary, it stands in the so-called Cova da Irai, at a height of 346m, in a landscape of green hills. Large pilgrimages bring together thousands of the faithful on the 13th of each month, especially from the 13th May to the 13th October, the dates of the first and last appearances of the Virgin. The one on the 13th May is the most important and most people go there on foot. It is also a very cosmopolitan place where the religious faithful and visitors from the whole world cross paths.
