From the top of the same peak, 1818m above sea-level, at the end of the road, this belvedere offers a magnificent panoramic view over the massifs of the centre of the island. The crater site of Curral das Freiras, the top of the Torrinhas peak, and the Torres peak are particularly noticeable. To the north-east you will see the Ribeira da Metade, the Penha da Aguia hill (Eagle's rock) and São Lourenço point. From Arieriero peak, a path leads to Ruivo peak.
