Mirandela : Michelin's recommendations
Founded by the King Afonso II, but of Roman origin, Mirandela dominates the Tua which is crossed by a long Roman bridge of 230m rebuilt in the 16C and supported by 20 different arches. This is a spruce and fresh looking town with many flowers and green spaces and where you can cruise by boat along the Tua or to travel in a small railway car on the railway line of the Tua from Mirandela to Carvalhais.
