Monsaraz
: Michelin's recommendations
Located on the border between Spain and Portugal, this is a very picturesque fortified town. It occupies a strategic position and a remarkable site on a height that dominates the Guardiana valley. When it lost its role as a haven, it was abandoned in favour of Reguengos of Monsaraz, which has meant that it has preserved its shape from the past.
