This is a village dominated by a fortified castle from the 11C and 12C. From the keep, built of the same stone, you have a panoramic view over the castle, the village and the Serra da Lousã in the east. South of the castle, in Santa Eufémia church, you can see a Renaissance retable from the Coimbra school of sculpture.
