Praia da Rocha : Michelin's recommendations

A group of English writers and intellectuals who settled here between 1930 and 1950 made this village famous. It is now one of the largest seaside resorts on the Algarve and is well known for its climate, its sunshine, its vast beach which is extended by a series of inlets whose turquoise waters lap between the ochre and red cliffs punctuated with grottoes.
