Climbing to 883m above sea-level, where you will see cottages that are owned by the government. The trees in this beautiful park, in a tranquil site at the foot of the Pico Ruivo slopes, are reflected in the water of a small pond. Quite difficult paths, which are not advisable in wet weather, lead to Pico Ruivo and Caldeirão Verde crater.
