The coastal cliffs border a wild and empty landscape. A route starting at Vila de Bispo takes in the beaches of Castelejo, Cordoama and Barriga (accessible by car). West of Carrapateira, a route taking in the point has fine views of the steep coastline and over the long sandy beach of BBordeira. The fishing port and beach of Praia Arrifana are tucked away at the foot of a tall cliff. Don’t miss Odeceixe beach and Aljezur, a little town of white houses.
