Grande-Anse beach, 10km south of Saint-Pierre, is very appealing with its white sand, filao trees and the rugged beauty of Piton de Grande Anse. But swimming in the turbulent waters here is extremely risky. If you just can’t resist, be content with the little natural pools on the left and, above all, enjoy a pleasant day of relaxation. Grande-Anse beach now has quite a few facilities due to the increasing numbers of people coming here.
