Palace of Parliament : Michelin's recommendations

The former House of the People is the ultimate symbol of the delusions of grandeur of Ceausescu. One of the largest buildings in the world, it was built in the 1980s over 5 years by 20 000 workmen and 400 architects. The dimensions are epic (45 000m2), with over a thousand rooms over twleve floors. Today housing the national parliament and several museums, it remains only partially used and access is restricted to certain areas.

il Palazzo del Popolo è il più grande palazzo governativo dopo il Pentagono. a mio avviso questo monumento merita tre stelle. nessun palazzo, nemmeno quelli indubbiamente più belli dal punto di vista architettonico ed artistico, evoca una sensazione di imponenza paragonabile al Palazzo

Pros

Actually, the size is 330,000 sq m and not 45,000 sq m. Number of rooms exceeds 2,000, with the largest at 1,200 sq m.
