Horezu (Hurez) Travel guide
Horezu (Hurez) : Michelin's recommendations
In the shadow of the Capatânii mountains, Horezu has one of the finest monasteries in Oltania. The town is also famous for its ceramics, a traditional folk art often practiced for centuries by the same families, some of whom are Roma. The best time to visit is during its Cocosul fair which takes place on the first Sunday in June. Don’t miss the Horezu house of culture and the lovely hamlet of Olari, with around ten ceramics workshops.
