When to go
A trip to Romania will vary immensely depending on the time of year. Spring and autumn tend to be very brief, while the extreme summer and winter seasons are very extended. April to November is generally considered to be the best time to visit Romania. However, given the size of the country, variety of landscape and wealth of folklore festivals, a trip will be enjoyable all year round.
Time difference
Romania is on GMT+2 (October-February) and GMT+3 (March-September), so, when it is 12noon in London, it is 2pm in Bucharest.
