Originally every Russian town would have held a Kremlin, or fortress in Russian, but today the word is synonymous with the Moscow Kremlin, the official residence of the Russian President, and home to the Russian Orthodox Church. This tour will take you on a guided visit to the Armory, the official museum of the Moscow Kremlin. Built by the Imperial architect Konstantin Ton in the 19th century, the museum has a collection that has been growing since 1508, and that includes the Imperial crown of Russia, the throne of Ivan the Terrible, and one of the world's largest collections of Faberge eggs.
