Bordered by Red Square, the Moskova and the Alexander Gardens, the Kremlin fortifications form a triangle and extend 2 235m along their imposing brick wall, 6m thick in places and punctuated by 20 towers. The view of the whole complex from the opposite bank of the Moskova is impressive. Across from you are the oldest part of the fortress and the oldest tower, the Secret Tower, built in 1485. Saviour Tower overlooking Red Square is the site of the main entrance.
