At n° 1 Prechistenka Street note the white palace of Prechistenka, typical of late 17C Moscow, and Famitsyne Palace at n° 3. The buildings are a reminder that this road laid out in the 16C between the “white city” and Novodevichy Monastery was known for its aristocratic residences, some of them rebuilt in the Empire style after the fire of 1812.
