There are two splendid 17C mansions in this street. The first, Jrøgen Olufsens Gård, at n° 25, dates from 1616 and is half-timbered. The second, Jens Bangs Stenhus, at n° 9, is an impressive red-brick house built by a rich merchant in 1624. With its stone reliefs and elaborate gables, this is the finest Renaissance private house in Denmark.
