Cuisine modern

Menu: (set menu only) 650DKK/ 1200DKK A particularly interesting wine list

Simply decorated restaurant in the vaults of an eye-catching 17C former seafarers building close to Nyhavn harbour and the Royal Palace; owned and run by an experienced sommelier. Choose from a 4, 6, 7 or 9 course set menu. Skilful, well-judged cooking has a Danish heart and shows great originality as well as a keen eye for detail, flavour and texture.

      Pros

Mesmerising. In an interestingly decorated cellar you are taken on an incredible culinary journey. Understandably some of the food is considered too far fetched. But the incredible enthusiasm of all the staff really gets you into it. And there is plenty of very tasty dishes. An absolute favourite.

      Cons

Copenhagen is expensive, and this place is not an exception.
