This is the last portion of Strøget, a traffic-free shopping street with department stores, such as the famous Illum. Just opposite, on the right, a little road leads to the little square on which stands Nikolaj Kirke. Further along on the left are a few passages and series of courtyards with tastefully renovated houses that are now occupied by restaurants, cafés and high-fashion boutiques, including Benikow Gården, and Pistolstræde, which you get to via a porch at n^o 24.
