The Classical façade of the town hall (1803) dominates the market place onto which converge several roads lined with houses dating from the 16C-19C. A fine half-timbered warehouse (17C) that can be seen from Nørregade houses the municipal museum (local history and traditions). Kirkestræde is also home to houses from the 16C and 17C, the oldest of which, dating from 1527, is located at no 20. Skt. Nicolai Kirke is a 14C church of considerable interest: it has a gabled tower crowned by a lantern, and houses a Renaissance pulpit and Baroque altarpiece.
