This bright, modern and enjoyable museum provides an insight into the life of this famous Danish writer. An introduction to the man himself is followed by a collection of his famous papercuts. Other highlights include a huge library containing works by the writer in 150 languages, as well a memory hall which follows Andersen’s life through a series of frescoes, personal items and manuscripts.
