This prestigious modern art museum enjoys a location on the left bank of the Gudenå. It was founded by Asger Jorn (1914-1973) - a major post-war painter and founder of the famous Cobra group - to house his own collection of around 400 of his paintings and works by other painters such as Léger, Picasso, Miró, Ernst, Le Corbusier and Dubuffet. Stalingrad stands out from all of Jorn's paintings as a frightful masterpiece. A major collection of 20C Danish art completes the visit.
