The Art Deco building of the Bergen Kunstmuseum, at n^o 9, houses an interesting collection of Norwegian and international art: icons and paintings by old Flemish masters, an overview of Norwegian painting (with Johan Christian Dahl), the Stenersen Collection which includes pieces by Klee, Picasso and Miró, as well as Norwegian artists (Edvard Munch and Jacob Weidemann). N^o 7 presents the Rasmus Meyer Collections (Norwegian art from the 19C to 1915). Temporary exhibitions are organised at n^o 3, the glass building named after financier and patron Rolf Stenersen (1899-1978).
