The road from Geiranger to Dalsnibba (1 495m) winds through a vertiginous valley affording impressive views. From Flydalsjuvet there is a spectacular view of the Flydal gorge, village and fjord. After Lake Djupvatnet, at Djupvasshytta (1 038m), the road known as “Nibbevegen” (very tight bends) leads up to the summit, from where the view is simply breathtaking.
