Kabelvåg Travel guide
Kabelvåg : Michelin's recommendations
The main fishing port of the Lofoten islands in the 19C, Kabelvåg was already a major trading centre in Viking times, controlling dried fish exports. A large wooden church (1898), nicknamed the Lofoten Cathedral, dominates the little fishing port. The main points of interest are concentrated around Storvågen, on the outskirts of the village, on the lefthand side of the E10.
