Munch Museum
: Michelin's recommendations
Edvard Munch (1863-1944), marked very early by illness and death among those close to him, frequented Paris as an adult and adopted Realism (1885). During a second stay there he turned to the Impressionists and Symbolists (1889), before settling in Berlin (1892), fascinated by Strindberg and Nietzshe's followers and their fascination with death; this is also when he discovered the new Expressionist movement. He made a last trip to Paris (1896) before returning to Oslo (1908-09).

Pros
To thoroughly enjoy a display of Munch paintings would be a sure sign of lunacy and I suspect he would have squirmed at the thought - but I am really glad I went.
Cons
Only what I was meant to dislike!
