Founded in 1828, Agder Naturmuseum is one of the oldest in Norway. Its collections, which were fully renovated in 1990 and installed in Gimle Gård, cover the period since the last Ice Age: glaciers and landscapes, icebergs and the wildlife of each climatic period etc. A botanical garden is also part of the museum.
