The Flåmsbana is a railway on the edge of Aurlandsfjord that takes passengers 866m up in the air within 46min, with gradients of up to 55%. You will be treated to absolutely spectacular landscapes on the way up! The small museum nearby, extended in 2009, provides an opportunity to get a better idea of the history of the construction of one of the steepest railway lines in the world.
