The stave church stands to the left of the road as you come into the village. It was built in the 12C but substantially reworked in 1735. A few vestiges of the original sanctuary can be seen inside, in the apse. The current building is simple, with a cruciform layout, and has a charming little tower with motifs painted in blue against a white background.
